If you have used previous versions of Speed Download, It is possible that the CMM might launch the old version of Speed Download by accident. If this happens, either delete the old version, or launch speed download before using the CMM
You should not resume downloads that have been started with a previous version of Speed Download. Doing so may crash Speed Download. You should either finish downloads with an old version, or follow this procedure:
If you have registered Speed Download, and have not deleted or moved the old preferences file, Speed Download will find it and know that you have already registered.
1) Locate and open Speed Download's download folder
2) Locate and move to a safe place the folder containing the item being download. This folder is in Speed Download's download folder. If you were downloading the file "yet_another_update.sit", the folder would be named "/yet_another_update.sit". The interesting files here are those named "Segment x". these are the segment files, and contain the partially downloaded file
3) Add the item to the queue again.
4) Open the download's new folder. Copy into this folder the segment files found in 2)
5) Start the download from within Speed Download. Speed Download will find the Segment files and use them
